Hi, my name is Diane Arndt

I am a wife to Randy and a mom to Chloe & Jenn. My husband and I live in Rock Falls with our energetic Chesapeake Bay retriever, Luther!

I became a hairstylist over 35 years ago after watching my mom be a hairdresser. I have always had a love for hair and makeup and enjoy all the avenues of this industry as it brings a variety of career opportunities.

I love being able to sit down with my clients one on one and truly build relationships with them. Relationships, to the point that my clients actually become family! We are a very people-oriented career & I love every single one of my clients.

I was a Zotos and Matrix educator in my early years and that really helped me perfect my skills.

My favorite professional line that we carry in the salon is Pureology, but I do enjoy experimenting with lots of different professional products.

I’m especially passionate about our Mirabella makeup line. It’s a line for every woman, every age. I’d love to chat with you about that.

In my free time, I love to travel; my husband and I actually have a favorite resort in Mexico we go to every year! I also love to snowshoe or any kind of adventure anyone asked me to do.

Hi, my name is Patrick Storby

I moved from Lake Mills to Mason City and have made MC my home.

You could always find me playing with hair in my childhood, and as a teenager, I began to do friends and family's hair.

My passion has helped me step out of the box, finding that hair coloring is a great opportunity to showcase my creativity. As a stylist for NIACC's performing arts, I have gained exceptional knowledge in working with wigs and hairpieces as well as Avant Garde styling. I have now been a Hairstylist 15+ years.

I am enthusiastic about most aspects of the hair industry. I love playing with color. I think what I love the most, however, is the personal relationship I have created with the people sitting in my chair. Everyone loves catching up with a friend; I have the pleasure of doing it all day long.

Although I love all of the products we carry here at Reflections, I would have to say hands down Pureology is where it’s at for your hair care needs.

I am always looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces walking through the door.

When I’m not at the salon you can usually find me with family & friends. During the warmer months, you will find me at my camper. I’m always listening to music as it brings me so much joy.

Hi, I’m Jill Black, and I have been a cosmetologist for 34+ years. I joined the Reflections team during the summer of 1998. Since being a cosmetologist, I have attended many Master Academy’s including mens haircutting in Boulder, Colorado, Minardi in New York, and Aquage Avant Guarde styling in Omaha, Nebraska. I have also had the pleasure of being an in-salon educator for years and sharing my knowledge with the entire staff.

As a stylist, I enjoy precision cutting and coloring. I will take the time to formulate a color that will work with your hair challenges and then create a cut that compliments it. I love to build relationships with my clients, and I welcome anyone with the same desire.

In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends, travel, and maintain a (mostly) healthy lifestyle! My favorite products in the salon are Aveda’s Shampure Dry Shampoo, and Pureology’s Soft Finish Texture Spray.

Hi, my name is Deb Duregger

I have been married to my husband, Chad, for 30 years and we have three children and four grandchildren. We live in Mason City.

I have been doing hair for 33+ years and for 30 of those years, I have been at Reflections Salon. I was also an educator for matrix specializing in skin care and cosmetics.

There isn’t one single service that I like doing more than another in the salon. I enjoy being able to offer a variety of different services to all of my clients. It keeps things interesting, and I never get bored!

A couple of my favorite products that we sell in the salon is Pureology Instant Levitation Mist and the Quick Blowout from Redken. And, of course, anything from my Mirabella cosmetic line!

In our free time, my husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it’s going for a jeep ride, fishing on a lake in Minnesota, or traveling down to Nashville and enjoying all the wonderful sounds there. We also like to do a little axe throwing now and then, but my favorite activity to do during my time off is spending time with my four grandchildren!

Hi, my name is Katie Renberg.

My husband, Danny, and I have two boys with a baby on the way.

I’ve been with Reflections Salon for 8+ years and behind the chair for 11+. Some of my specialties include balayage and highlights. I really get to show my creative side with both of these services, which in turn leaves her guest feeling good

My favorite two products would be Pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner followed with Pureology color fanatic!

Outside of the salon I enjoy being a mom of 2 soon to be 3 and being with my family and friends.

I would love to travel more and someday JUMP OUT OF A PLANE!

Hi, my name is Sidney Owen

I am passionate, driven & upbeat. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 4 years & followed in the footsteps of not only my parents, but also my grandparents — making it 3 generations of stylists.

My favorite products that we carry in the salon would be Pureology, Color Fanatic, or Redken’s Acidic Bonding Concentrate line.

I love to educate my clients on all of their hair wants & needs as well as make sure they feel comfortable & confident.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, make weekend getaways or simply unwind fishing at the lake. I would love to travel more in the future and would love to explore the option of being an educator herself one day.

Hi, my name is Kaity W. Decker

I am a wife, stepmom of 1, and dog mom of 2! I was born and raised in Ames, and I moved to Mason City in May 2020. I love gaming, thrifting, music, traveling, and crafting. Growing up, I always had my hands on makeup. As I got older, I realized I love doing hair, too. That’s where my journey began.

I’ve been doing hair for 5+ years. I went to cosmetology school at PCI Academy in Ames. That’s when I learned I love to do dimensional blondes, and I love making people feel good about the way they look. When we feel good about ourselves, we can conquer anything.

In the salon, you’ll usually see me working on something techy when I’m not doing hair. I also run our social media pages and I am the salon ambassador for Mirabella Beauty. My go-to products are Mirabellas Invincible Foundation and Pureology’s styling products.

As your stylist, I am dedicated to making you feel like your best self, inside and out.
